Two Saturdays 7/18 and 7/25 from 2-4pm A serger (or overlocker) is a fantastic machine that does so many things… but they can be quite intimidating the first time you sit down to thread it! In this two part class Julia will guide you through understanding the parts of a serger, how to thread it successfully and how to balance the tension, and then in the second class we will make a glasses case entirely on the serger. Students are encouraged to bring their serger from home but if you are serger-curious and don’t own one already you may participate using our classroom machines. Please indicate in the note section at checkout if you will be borrowing a machine! This is also a great class to take to learn more about the fantastic Baby Lock serger lineup.
