Saturday 6/27 from 10-1pm Skill Level: Confident/Adventurous Beginner Review our Skill Level Descriptions and Expectations This is an Adult Class for ages 16 Instructor: Marti Join Marti to dabble in a bit of improv-style piecing and make her Star Table Runner! She’ll guide students through two different star blocks- one very traditional star with half square triangles and an improv-style star that makes 2 blocks at once. Please note that class is focused on creating the blocks and learning the techniques and there will not be class time for quilting/binding. Feel free to come back for Open Studio or book a private lesson if you need to! Participating students should be comfortable sewing a 1/4” seam and working with a rotary cutter. Materials Needed: (all registered students get 15% off in our shop!) Please be on time for class with your supplies already purchased and ready to go. 2 Coordinating fabrics for the stars FQs of each if only making star blocks (2 FQs yeild 2 blocks, if you want to make it a quilt!) OR 1/2 yard of each to make the runner with flying geese border. 1/2 yard of background fabric Materials Provided: Use of our Baby Lock Jubilant sewing machines as well as tools and notions. By registering for this class, you agree to the following cancellation policy: By purchasing a class or workshop you agree that there will be no refunds, transfers or credit given for the class after the designated start time. 100% refunds or class credit is available if requested up to 72 hours before the start of a class/workshop. No refunds will be given within 72 hours of the start of class unless your spot can be filled from a wait list, otherwise future class credit will be issued. No-Shows without an attempt to contact us prior to the start time of class (email, voicemail etc) will not be refunded, transferred or given credit. No make up classes are available. We will not transfer credit to a future class more than once. In the case of inclement weather a credit towards a future class will be given. The instructor reserves the right to cancel class if there is insufficient enrollment in which case a refund will be offered. Most classes require 3 students to run.
