Sunday 7/26 from 2pm-5pm Skill Level: Beginner Review our Skill Level Descriptions and Expectations This is an Adult Class for ages 16 Instructor: Camille Learn the basics of cutting with a rotary cutter (it’s nice and quick!) as well as a basic zipper installation to make a zipper pouch in one of 2 sizes. A fantastic beginner project, or for those who have never sewn zippers. Please be on time for class with your supplies already purchased and ready to go. Materials to bring with you to class: (all students get 15% off in the Old Spool Shop!) 1 Fat Quarter (or 1/4 yard) of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas fabric for the exterior 1 Fat Quarter (or 1/4 yard) of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas fabric for the lining 9” or longer zipper, regular nylon coil (not metal) Thread to match your exterior fabric 1/2 yard of lightweight fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF101 or Pellon 911FF Materials Included with registration: Zip it Good Pouch Pattern, use of our Baby Lock Jubilant sewing machines as well as all notions and tools needed.
