The foam pad consists of a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film, and a silicone adhesive border that adheres to the surrounding skin, allowing exudate to be absorbed, while preventing leakage. The dressing is easy to apply and remove minimizing pain, maceration and the risk of secondary damage to the wound area.
