The absence of a border allows the dressing to be easily cut and customized to fit the specific wound size and shape. The foam pad consists of a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film, and a silicone adhesive that adheres to the surrounding skin, allowing exudate to be absorbed, while not sticking to the wound bed. The dressing is easy to apply and remove minimizing pain, maceration, and the risk of secondary damage to the wound area.
